Kromar offers traditional prepress services complete with camera, stripping, and platemaking, so that our customers have the option of staying with that technology or migrating to Computer-to-Plate. Our staff can help you should you need assistance.

Our commitment to our customers is to make sure your files are exactly as you wanted throughout the printing process. All files are thoroughly checked for bleed, keylines, line breaks and trapping. Our prepress professionals identify and fix problems in the file before they become expensive mistakes.

In-house design and artwork capabilities are geared to providing conceptual development and support for the creation and production of any project, regardless of complexity. From a few lines of type, to periodical production, our experienced and capable staff are well versed in all facets of prepress and artistic composition. From an electronic library that spans a universe of choices, type is married to design for everything from pamphlets, newsletters, and paperback novels, to complex annual reports, corporate brochures, and hard-covered first editions.

Full colour covers and inserts can be proofed directly from digital files. These digital proofs provide several cost and performance advantages: No need for film. Save time, money and hassles.

Proofs are laminated onto actual printing stock so you know exactly what your book cover is going to look like.

Reproduction quality is guaranteed because the proofer is calibrated to the output characteristics of our presses.
